Grants & Scholarship Funds

There are many effective treatment options for Autism. Many are covered by private insurance but, families may be left with co-pays. And, other, non-traditional therapies like music, yoga, or theater may not be covered at all. In an effort to help our families, we’ve compiled a few funding options that may be of assistance.

Autism Care Today (ACT.org)

ACT is a non-profit organization that provides grants of up to $5,000 for families with dependents on the Autism spectrum.  Families throughout the United States are eligible and funds are awarded on a quarterly basis. 

United Healthcare Children's Foundation

United Healthcare Children’s Foundation provides grant funding for children up to age 16. Families applying for grants must meet income requirements which can be viewed here. UHCF will provide up to $10,000 in lifetime funding.

Autism Treatment Assistance Program (ATAP)

ATAP is a Nevada State agency that provides full coverage for ABA therapy services as well as assistance covering copays and deductibles. This is a statewide program that provides temporary assistance and funding to pay for evidence-based treatment for children on the Spectrum up to the age of 20.

California Autism Resource & Evaluation Foundation

CARE offers grant funding to any family 
residing in the US with a child on the Autism spectrum. There is no state residential requirement or application deadline. Families must make $75, 000 or less to be eligible for assistance.

Know Autism: A foundation For Children With Autism

Know Autism is a non-profit organization with a number of programs offering financial assistance to families affected by Autism. To receive funds, families must have a child between 1-18 years old with an Autism diagnosis.
